September 2015 to February 2016 were the few months in which a lot of new discoveries and realizations about my strengths brightened my horizon and one of them was this book. I stayed in Mulhouse, France, studying Graphic Design at Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin, as an exchange student from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. This book tries to translate my journey and my experiences during those few months. During the exchange period, I made it a point to keep writing my thoughts down, every week. This activity, which seemed very simple and harmless at first, proved to be the most enriching experience that has evidently taught me a lot about myself. Write Right Write Left is a compilation of all those essays/ write-ups/ stories/ blabbering thoughts transformed into this heartwarming publication

.The book emerged as the culmination of my love for written words and enthusiasm about publication design. Compiling all the posts, deciding the tone of the book while staying true to the content, flowing the text in those pages, refining and fine-tuning each and every inch to the best of my capacity, proofreading, taking sample prints, colour correcting the images, selecting the paper, actually getting the first print, binding the book and most importantly smiling over and over again looking at the beauty that goes by the name Write Right Write Left. This is how I spent the first two months in India after coming back.

These posts were simply written to keep all my people updated about my stay in France. Ultimately it became something that I looked forward to do every week. I’d wait for the weekend to update my blog and then I got to know that a number of people waited for the updates! Who knew this would happen! I was sharing my work on social media and it was getting appreciated. This was my first attempt at writing something and sharing it with such a huge audience. It was a big step for me. I am happy to have shared this journey with you all.
