The inspiration behind this project was to get people to write, get their creative juices flowing and to make me do something different. The thoughtfully written heartfelt stories inspired me, made me think, re-think and made my heart melt several times. The writers told me that working on this tiny project helped them revisit their creative side. We all found something good in us. The range of emotions accessed through these stories was quite overwhelming. So glad to see these many types of voices sharing their views. This project and these people right here, is something that I'll cherish forever.

I believe that everyone has incredibly diverse experiences and hence has absolutely valid, distinct point of view. Not one story was like the other and I'm pretty sure if we were to do permutation and combinations of these exact 36 words and the same people, each story we'll get to read would still be one of a kind. And that's why I am so glad to have done this, to have been able to work with new references, new voices, new joys, new sorrows.

 

Growing through different experiences we certainly have managed to weave one common fabric of awareness that holds us together. The awareness of our intricate emotions, their validity and their transcendence. Without that inevitable connection I wouldn't have been able to find visuals from my own digital memory to go hand in hand with thoughts of my fellow weavers.
